The Internet Entrepreneur
My name is Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten. I have been online since 1995. I have started several companies and even sold a few.
My job is to come up with new ideas. Some ideas turn into projects and some projects turn into companies. Most ideas are dismissed, most projects are abanded and only some companies succeed.
When a company or project is successful all is well. If something failes I feel like shit. Never a dull moment!
Over the years I have written maybe hundreds of blog posts but always for the projects or companies I was involved with. Now I have decided to start collecting these posts in one place.
Bomega is the name of my personal Holding Company. This is the only company I will never sell so I figured it would be a good place to start this blog.
There are two reasons to write a blog:
1: because you hope people will read it and think you are a cool guy
2: to clear your mind
I have a lot of ideas and theories which I’m happy to share with the world. If people read them and are entertained or inspired that is great. If it turns out that nobody is interested at least it will enable me to get these ideas out of my mind…
